Cameron Dhaliwal raised to 40,000 and Alexandru Ersen-Baciu three-bet to 135,000. What followed was the four-bet shove by Dhaliwal and Ersen-Baciu said “this might be it”, checked his cards again and ultimately called with both players holding near even stack sizes.

The inferior ace of Dhaliwal got there on the board and the stacks were counted. Ersen-Baciu had 806,000 and covered by a marginal amount, as Dhaliwal doubled for 794,000.

On the button, Ersen-Baciu moved all-in blind and recorded on his phone, jokingly saying he would be doing that for the next hour.

The 53h] board brought no help and that ended the second semi-final after slightly more than an hour.

“Can you please write that I finished in third?” Ersen-Baciu inquired as he had finished fourth in this event one year ago. Both spots receive the same €3,400 but we shall give him the benefit of the doubt especially considering how entertaining he was.

The Romanian had told Dhaliwal that he was a very lucky player, but it was Dhaliwal who found the luck of the Irish once more to advance to the finals at 6 p.m. local time against Eriks Krumins.
