Glenn Miller raised to 55,000 from UTG. Next to make a move was Martyn Frey, who went all in for roughly 240,000 from the Cut-off. Then, John Abbott-Brown re-shoved from the Big Blind for just shy of Frey’s stack. Miller got out of the way, and the two remaining competitors turned over their hole cards.

The last couple of years, the internet’s been bantering about “the Curse of Pocket Jacks”. Once again, this has proven to only be hearsay; the board favored Frey’s hand, and as he doubled up, Abbott-Brown hit the rail, and gets to collect €2,700 for his 15th place finish.
