Claudio di Giacomo and Tedde Ballanger have just doubled through each other in near-consecutive hands – overall Di Giacomo did rather better out of the whole thing, although I’m sure Ballanger’s glad he at least got to double his short stack back through Di Giacomo instead of losing both showdowns and ending with nothing. The first hand looked like so:
Ballanger: 9c Tc
Di Giacomo: 7s 7d
Board: 7h Qs 6h Td Ks
…And then a moment later this happened:
Di Giacomo: Ac 5d
Ballanger: 3s 3h
Board: Jc Td 7d 9s 9d
I left the table with Ballanger on 80k and Di Giacomo on 240k.
