Simeon Sharr came along to the Irish Open with the Grosvenor Team and his wife Mrs Sharr and has been enjoying himself all through his trip. “I’m going to come back every year if I can!” he told us.
Sharr’s week was almost an incredible one, as he made a deep run in the Mini Main, only to crash out with pocket threes versus aces, inside the money but outside the big money in 66th place for €1,380.
Simeon explained his wife was in tears as she left, she was so keen on staying! We love hearing stories like this, from players immersing themselves in the whole experience here at the Irish Open and loving every moment. Simeon seems like a great guy and we hope to see him back last year.
Sharr’s trip is almost over but he’s contending the Liam Flood tournament, with just above his starting stack. Good luck sir!
