A new record was broken already in the €550 JP Masters with 380 entries contributing €185,250 to the prize pool with still four levels and a dinner break for more players to file in.
This is heads-and-toes above the 347 entries attracted last year for a 169163 prize pool. Gerry Walsh won that event for €23,418 as part of a five-way deal but so far isn’t back to defend his title.
