We’ve had three Main Event satellites running alongside Day 1c here today, the first paying out 14 seats, the second 15, and the third still ongoing but due to pay out 11. Everyone seems very keen to get themselves into the Main by any means necessary.
And they will soon get their chance. If dropping into Level 8 of Day 1c with a roughly half-average 30k starting stack doesn’t appeal and you’d prefer something a bit more adrenaline-fuelled, we’re about half an hour away from kickoff in Day 1d with its breakneck turbo format. Or alternatively, I’ve already heard several players say that they’re just going to retire to the bar for tonight, and buy straight in to Day 2 tomorrow, when 30k really will be a short stack. Each to their own.
