A massive turnout of 801 entries, from 568 unique players, created an intense 6-Max Championship event at the 2025 Irish Open.
Deep into paid places, Day 1 concluded last night with 43 players still eyeing the title.
Giustino Monzo sits atop the leaderboard with 1,450,000, just over 70 big blinds when play resumes Tuesday at noon. The Italian is in prime position to vie for the €44,600 top prize, but short-handed rotations and 30-minute levels mean the standings may shift one way or the other in a matter of a few hands.
15 countries will be represented at the tables on the final day; more than a third of the remaining field hails from the UK. Only two British players are in the provisional top 10, though: Ionel Serbu (1,325,000) and Daniel Jackson (880,000).
Action gets underway with the blinds at 10,000/20,000. All remaining contenders are guaranteed €800 and the pay jumps start getting steeper as the tournament approaches its key stage.
You can check out updated results and the payout structure above in the “Payouts” tab. Live hand coverage will begin here at p.m. and continue until a winner hoists the trophy.
