In what would turn out to be a crazy hand, Pedro Barossi raised to 500 from early position and James Edwards three-bet to 2,200 from the next seat across. Andrew Murray four-bet to 6,000 and Randy Hagen cold called the four-bet. Barossi folded, Edwards called and Murray called.
The flop came and action checked to Murray, who moved all in for 15,600. Hagen called and so did Edwards, meaning three players were all in.
Andrew Murray:
Randy Hagen:
James Edwards:
Edwards had a straight flush draw and Hagen had a pair of nines. The turn and river were dealt and Murray held with his pocket kings to win the pot, tripling up his stack and leaving his two opponent’s short.
Spraggy started doing a little jigg and singing, “working 9 till 5, what a way to make a living”.
James Edwards – 18,000
Randy Hagen – 9,000
Andrew Murray – 70,000
