Tragically, my colleague Rod Stirzaker spent the entire night writing a full blog for the Liam Flood Memorial, right down to a winner – but something weird in the back end is preventing it from being visible on the site! I actually think Mr Flood would find this quite amusing. We’ll get that sorted ASAP, so please check back tomorrow to read about all the delightful things that happened.
Anyway, long story short: James O’Brien won the trophy after a boisterous and rapid five-way chop on the final table. Much fun was had by all. Please do come back and read Rod’s blog once we’ve managed to publish it – it really is very fine poker reporting and we all feel bad for him.
